Stephen Russell
Pastor

Stephen and Dalene Russell with their daughters, Catherine and Lisa, moved to America in July 2001 in obedience to a call from the Lord to this nation. Stephen assumed the leadership of New Life on Cape Cod in July 2002 and serves as team leader and pastor for New Life.

The Russells hail from South Africa where they pioneered a church and The King's Court Christian School in the northeastern part of the country. Stephen worked inter-denominationally in the rural areas of the Northeast as well as in seven countries in southern and central Africa, primarily training church leaders. The training and ministering mostly was done through speaking engagements at conferences in the rural areas. He also taught at Bible Schools and served as adjunct faculty representative at a national missions training program  where he lectured on cross-cultural missions on a regular basis.

Stephen is very active in serving the wider Body of Christ on Cape Cod. He served for many years on the leadership team of the Evangelical Ministers Fellowship of Cape Cod and the Islands (EMF) and he also represents evangelical churches in other capacities on Cape Cod. He has a heart to see the Body of Christ on Cape Cod to become united in the common denominator of serving Jesus Christ and see Him glorified by the Spirit here on the Cape.

Stephen has an anticipation for the fulfillment of the many prophetic words regarding a move of God both at New Life and in New England and are excited to be a part of it.

The Russells reside in Dennis Port on Cape Cod, MA. Their youngest daughter Lisa currently lives with her husband Casey Hodges in Durban South Africa where they are part of a team that started a Global Awakening School of Supernatural Ministry, the first of its kind in that nation. Their oldest daughter Catherine completed two year's ministry training in New Hampshire, served at the San Francisco House of Prayer, completed a one-year course at the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA; she is actively involved in the life of the church family at Bethel.

Stephen and Dalene became citizens of the United States in June 2011.
