Casey and Lisa, the youngest daughter of Stephen and Dalene Russell from New Life, are part of a team located in Durban, South Africa with the mission to establish a School of Supernatural Ministry in the country; this is a first for South Africa.
Casey and Lisa were commissioned by Global Awakening's School of Supernatural ministry in Mechanicsburg, PA where Casey completed the two-year course and Lisa an internship in her third year with the school.
After high school Casey joined the national youth ministry Acquire the Fire where he served in various capacities. He visited the southern African country of Botswana twice where he assisted the rural churches in church building. He also led teams from America that came to Botswana for missions work. Casey finished leadership training from their Honor Academy prior to enrolling for two years at Global Awakening's school where he met Lisa in his final year. Casey gained valuable experience whilst traveling throughout the nation with the school's traveling teams as part of his second year practical training. This ministry took him to churches, gatherings and the streets.
Lisa cut her ministry teeth in Mozambique in Eastern Africa where she started at the age of nine to minister to children at an outdoor meeting. She has always been available for ministry - at New Life in the children's church, teen ministry and later at Essential Truth, a young adult ministry of New Life in Orleans.
During her second year at GSSM Lisa concentrated on the missions track. She visited the country of Brazil in the summer of 2008 where she was part of the leadership team of a group of young people who spread the love of Jesus Christ in the city of Rio de Janeiro for two weeks. Apart from leading her team, she ministered in churches and saw many signs and wonders that the Lord did through her.
Both Casey and Lisa have a passion to see believers enter into the more of the Lord - more of His power, more of His glory and more of His presence in their daily lives.
The school in Durban opened its doors in February 2011 and Casey and Lisa are part of the administrative and training staff.

Casey and Lisa are responsible for their own support and as they travel on volunteer mission worker visas, they are not allowed to do secular work in South Africa. They welcome those who would partner with them to make this supernatural school of ministry a reality in South Africa.
