Here is a list of frequently asked questions that will help you feel comfortable and aware of what to expect at New Life.
Should I bring my Bible?
We encourage you to bring your Bible in the format most comfortable to you - digital or paper. We also display important points and scriptures on the overhead screen.
What should I wear?
We want you to be at ease and encourage you to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
What is the music like?
Our music style is contemporary with an emphasis on pursuing God’s presence. We do current praise and worship songs from churches all over the world.
What do you offer for children?
We have a cry-room/nursery with a direct feed of the service, as well as ministry in a classroom setting for toddlers and children up to age 12. The emphasis is on introducing children to God the Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
How often do you celebrate communion?
We have a permanent table set with the communion elements for those who want to partake during the service. Our church family receives communion together the first weekend of the month to remember Christ’s sacrificial death for us.
Does New Life receive financial offerings?
Yes. We do not take up an offering in the traditional sense but believe that offering is an act of worship. For this reason baskets are placed in the front of the auditorium for those who desire to give during the time of worship.
Who do I talk to if I want to know more?
You can chat to any of the greeters or ministry team members in the front after the service. They will direct you to the team member who can most appropriately answer your questions.
