As “the community of God” we are meant to be a clear picture of God in our community. In other words, there should be no ambiguity to God being among us, His people.
God knows you because you are in communion with Him or better still, “in relationship” with Him. Here is what the Bible says about this: "But if anyone loves God, he is known by God” (1 Corinthians 8:3).
Your love attracts the attention of God. He loves “the all”, but those that consciously decide to “love God” bring about a parent-child relationship with Him. That invitation is to anyone, the key being to respond and accept what He is offering. You cannot live independently from God, only needing Him when things go south, yet expect that child-parent relationship.
Love, from you towards God as Father, causes you to be part of the "household of faith" as the Bible puts it in Galatians 6:10.
Be encouraged to know that God “knows” you with the connotation of that word in the original language holding the concept of the wonder a parent has towards their child.
