Worship & encounter
Sundays - 5pm
“It is in the process of being worshiped that God communicates
His presence to men.”
—C. S. Lewis
what to expect
Whether you are vacationing on the Cape, searching for meaning in life or already walking with the Lord, our Sunday evening worship events cater for a friendly community of passionate worshippers. Everyone is welcome and we look forward to meeting you!
When you visit on a Sunday evening you can expect -
The contemporary worship service to last 1 to 1.5 hours
A permanent table set up for communion
A short message to exhort and encourage
A time for personal prayer ministry, including prayer for physical healing
Here is a list of frequently asked questions that will help you feel comfortable and aware of what to expect at New Life.
What should I wear?
We want you to be at ease and encourage you to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.
What is the music like?
Our music style is contemporary with an emphasis on pursuing God’s presence. We do current praise and worship songs from churches all over the world.
What do you offer for children?
We have a cry-room/nursery in the lobby. Unfortunately no supervised child-care is available but parents are welcome to have their children join them in the service.
Do you offer communion?
We have a permanent table set with the communion elements for those who want to partake. If you prefer, one of the prayer ministry team members will assist you.
Does New Life receive financial offerings?
Yes. We regard offering is an act of worship and if you so desire, you are welcome to give during the time of worship.
Who do I talk to if I want to know more?
You can chat to any of the prayer ministry team members in the front after the service.
Please feel free to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with additional questions.
There is a longing in all of us to connect with God and hear what He has to say. That is the aim of our Sunday evening worship, to encounter God and connect on a deeper level with His heart .
